Presenting text displays

Due to some unfortunate delays during the writing of this week's tutorial we weren't able to publish our tutorial directly. Therefore, our apologies for the late tutorial submission.

This week, we will be showing you a scripting feature called text displays, that can be used to put many interesting concepts into reality.

On a side note: we've noticed that some of you had problems with viewing some of our videos. These issues could be resolved by installing the latest ffdshow filters and XviD codec. It is likely that you will need ffdshow filters for the latest video as well.

What unit of measurement is used in the coordinates? Is 0,0 in the lower left and 1,1 in the upper right?

hi, why we get all those tutorials and video,s ? i dont think much people care, ive checked this site on and on for the mta sa mod to come out but it just won,t. its been some years now and all i see on the site is constantly those video,s and tutorials. i really don,t care about those never read or watched em anyway. i like it more to find it all out myself.

personally i don,t see the point of give all those video,s and tutorials if the game isn,t there. and somehow i,m gonna think it will never come ready :(

Hi, I downloaded both the ffdshow filters (Genatic build February 12, 2007) and the XviD (Xvid-1.1.2-01112006 _Final Release_) codec and still can't play the vid...

Try downloading a Media Player Classic or VLC and then use it to watch the video.
